Our leadership team is staffed with long-time credit union industry veterans who bring a wide, varied background of experience in diverse industries. We understand that technology management is more than just using the right products. It requires a motivated team, and a pragmatic focus on systems and process integration.
At the same time, in our roles we have also been a client of the same technology service providers that you work with. Through that experience, we’ve learned what constitutes an ideal vendor. We’ve taken that knowledge and combined it with direct feedback from our own clients to make WRG be the best service provider we can be. That work is never fully done, but it is an ideal that drives our growth and the maturation of our business.
Dave joined WRG in 2006 as Director of Sales and Marketing. Later, he assumed responsibility for Client Services, Consulting, and Product Management, before his appointment to President in July, 2019. Dave is passionate about optimizing WRG to make it the best service provider it can be. Prior to WRG, he served in various sales and marketing roles in the telecommunications industry. Dave earned his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management in 2017, and is a 2012 graduate of Western CUNA Management School.
Director – Projects & Implementation
Patti has over 20 years in the credit union industry and joined WRG in 2004. She initially began as our Client Services Manager, and is now Director of Projects & Implementation. Patti has led numerous core conversion, system migrations, mergers, DR tests, and IT security projects. She brings a passion for close client engagement, and continually looks for process improvements, while building and motivating teams to achieve common goals. Patti splits her time between WRG’s Pasadena and Anaheim offices.
Kerry Dolan Schiappa
Director – Sales & Marketing
Kerry has served the Information Technology industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining WRG, Kerry held sales positions managing Fortune 100 national and regional clients in companies such as AT&T, Avaya and Lucent Technologies. Her career at Wescom Resources Group began in 2008 as a Sales Executive working with clients across the nation. In Kerry’s role as Director of Sales & Marketing she continues with a focus on technology solutions that deliver results for Credit Unions, building relationships and honing a commitment to client excellence. Kerry earned her MBA from USC’s Graduate School of Business Administration.
Mark has worked with credit unions for over 20 years focusing on the management of products, projects and technology. His career has allowed him to work on conversions, mergers, online/mobile banking, data centers, contracts, core systems and staff from all areas of a credit union. He is currently overseeing our products and the continued relationship with our clients. Mark is a graduate from Western CUNA Management School and he holds a Master’s Degree in Business from California State University Fullerton.
Client Services Manager
Sonia brings over 35 years of experience in credit union services. Prior to joining WRG in 2014, Sonia worked in different areas of Wescom Credit Union, where she gained expertise in back office processes. Leveraging that experience in her role at WRG, Sonia demonstrates strong leadership in managing core conversions, mergers, and disaster recovery testing. She has spearheaded numerous projects to provide excellent service for clients. Sonia is passionate about building strong relationships and utilizing teamwork to deliver prompt, consistent and exceptional results.
