Overview

The Case Studies Slider block displays your case studies in an interactive slider format, allowing visitors to browse through your work examples without leaving the page.

How to Use

Adding the Block

  1. In the WordPress editor, click the “+” button to add a new block
  2. Search for “Case Studies Slider” and select it

Block Behavior

  • The block automatically fetches your most recent case studies (default: 3)
  • Each case study displays:
    • Title (clickable to select)
    • Featured image or preview image
    • Excerpt
    • Quote and citation (if available)
    • “Read More” link to the full case study

Interacting with the Block

  • Click on any case study title to display its content
  • The currently selected case study will be highlighted
  • Your selection is saved with the post/page

Customization

  • Use the block alignment options in the toolbar to control width
  • The number of case studies shown can be adjusted in the block settings

Troubleshooting

  • If you see “No case studies found,” you need to create case study posts first
  • For best results, ensure your case studies have:
    • A descriptive title
    • A featured image
    • An excerpt or content
    • Custom fields for quotes and citations (if applicable)

Best Practices

  • Keep titles concise for better display in the slider
  • Use consistent image dimensions for a polished appearance
  • Write compelling excerpts to encourage visitors to read more
