WordPress Dashboard Overview

Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see the WordPress Dashboard – your website’s control center. Here’s what you’ll find:

Dashboard Elements

  • Admin Bar: The black bar at the top appears on all admin pages and the front end, when logged in; also contains links to the Brand Standards and Website Guide for quick reference
  • Left Sidebar: Contains links to all administrative functions
  • Dashboard Widgets: Customizable boxes with information and quick tasks
  • Welcome Panel: Shows tips and quick links for getting started

Main Navigation Menu

  • Posts: Create and edit blog posts
  • Media: Upload and manage images, documents, and other files
  • Pages: Create and edit static pages
  • Comments: Moderate user comments
  • Brand Standards: Access and manage company brand guidelines, logos, and assets
  • Website Guide: Browse and update website documentation and best practices
  • Case Studies: Create and manage project case studies and success stories
  • Complianz: Cookie compliance settings
  • Appearance: Customize your theme, widgets, and menus
  • Plugins: Install and manage plugins
  • Users: Manage user accounts and roles
  • Tools: Import, export, and other utilities
  • Settings: Configure your website settings
    • IP Whitelisting: Restrict admin access to approved IP addresses

  • miniOrange 2FA: Access two-factor authentication settings from the main navigation menu
