Quote Block

Overview

The Quote block is a versatile WordPress block that has been extended in the Wescom Resources theme with a custom “Testimonial” style that aligns with the brand identity.

Basic Quote Block Usage

Adding a Quote Block:

• Click the “+” icon in the editor
• Search for “Quote” and select the Quote block
• Enter your quote text and optional citation

Standard Quote Styling:

• Default styling includes padding and clean typography
• Citations appear below the quote with proper spacing

Testimonial Style

The Wescom Resources theme includes a custom “Testimonial” style with the following brand-specific features:

• Wescom’s primary gradient background (blue)
• Sofia Pro font family
• Medium font size with italic styling
• Optimized line height for readability
• White text on blue gradient background
• 10px border radius for rounded corners
• Consistent padding (40px on all sides)

How to Apply the Testimonial Style

• Add a Quote block to your page
• Select the block
• In the block toolbar or sidebar, look for “Styles”
• Select “Testimonial” from the style options
