Leading technology CUSO, rebranded as Wescom Resources, achieves outstanding growth in support of its mission to support credit unions’ data management needs through innovative technology enhancements and partnerships.
Pasadena, Calif. – March 31, 2025 – Wescom Resources is excited to announce a revamped website and refined branding, following outstanding growth in 2024.
The new website, launched today, features a clean, modern design and easy navigability for current and prospective clients alike. The goal of the refresh is to highlight Wescom Resources’ streamlined brand image and innovative client engagement model.
Wescom Resources (formerly Wescom Resources Group) decided to change its name to reinforce the seamless, service-first relationships the credit union service organization (CUSO) has with its loyal clients.
“We are not changing who we are, just how we describe ourselves,” says David Cerwinski, President of Wescom Resources. “At Wescom Resources, we offer our clients a wide array of resources to support their unique needs, including technological innovation, systems, processes, products, compliance, security—and above all—people.”
“While credit unions can obtain some of these resources elsewhere, the exceptional experience rooted in the client service we provide is uniquely Wescom. Our updated name better represents the full range of resources we offer to enable our clients’ forward-thinking strategies.”
This brand refinement follows another year of significant growth and success for Wescom Resources. In 2024, the CUSO welcomed 15 new UNITRI core hosting client credit unions that collectively total over $4.8 billion in assets and serve 360,000 members throughout the U.S.
These clients include: North Iowa Community Credit Union, Police Federal Credit Union, Peninsula Community Federal Credit Union, Security First Federal Credit Union, Texoma Community Credit Union, University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union, Oswego County Federal Credit Union, Eastex Credit Union, SafeAmerica Credit Union, Affinity Credit Union, People First FCU, Niagara’s Choice FCU, Four Points Federal Credit Union, Memorial Credit Union, and APL Federal Credit Union. The CUSO also began supporting Harper Capital’s mortgage technology management needs with UNITRI Managed Services for FICS®.
Wescom Resources also added five new Tellergy branch technology clients, enabling Numerica Credit Union, EECU, Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, Memorial Credit Union and North Star Community Credit Union to enhance their members’ experience. Tellergy now powers over 2,900 teller stations nationwide.
To support Wescom Resources’ client growth and continued technology innovation, the CUSO expanded its team with new resources and additional employees in project management and client support. New projects initiated or completed in 2024 included the introduction of Linux-based core system hosting, new network security infrastructure and systems, and added layers of system redundancy.
“As a CUSO solely owned by Wescom Financial, we leverage Wescom’s track record of technology strength and innovation to provide service-focused FIs with a suite of powerful technology solutions,” says Joseph Pellissery, Wescom’s Chief Information Officer, and Board Chair of Wescom Resources. “We’re proud of this track record, and will keep striving to build long-standing client partnerships that help them innovate and deliver excellent service.”
